and a community that believes in you.

One hundred percent of our students graduate from St. Catherine's with a foundation preparing them for success. Nearly twenty percent of our faculty are alumni — they know what is possible here because they lived it.

Academic Overview

College and career ready —
by design.

Racine St. Catherine's curriculum is designed to challenge students while providing a strong foundation of knowledge and the opportunity to explore different fields of study. Our goal is to prepare every student for post-secondary life — both college-ready and career-ready.

Our enriching curriculum is delivered by excellent teachers who value each student as an individual and will move mountains to help them succeed. Nearly 20% of our faculty are alumni of St. Catherine's themselves.

Our commitment to continuous innovation is evident: a $1.2 million renovation of the science department, the addition of Microsoft's Technology Education and Literacy in Schools (TEALS) program, and new courses including AP Computer Science Principles, Principles of Biomedical Science, and Journalism.

Every Angel completes curriculum on an Apple iPad. Teachers often begin class with prayer and offer opportunities for students to engage with their faith within every content area.

PLTW
"Problem-based, project-driven engineering."

Engineering, by problem.

Project Lead The Way is a nationally recognized STEM program delivered through activity-, project-, and problem-based curriculum. Rather than chasing the "right" answer, students learn to define problems and invent their way to solutions — the habits of mind required in every STEM career.

PLTW courses are electives and do not count toward Math/Science graduation credits.

LRC
"Individualized support when a student needs it most."

The Learning Resource Center.

The LRC provides direct homework assistance and individualized tutorial instruction. Students learn note-taking, study technique, reading comprehension, research skills, and time management — the habits that make every other class easier.

Open Monday through Friday, 7:15am–2:15pm. An Extended Day program runs 2:30–4:00pm, three days per week.
